Today I am 100-months old!
I have been waiting to turn 100 for awhile now! I can't believe this has been written 100 times. It's been a pretty 100 months, that's for sure!
The last month was pretty awesome- mostly because we took our trip to DisneyLand! It was a lot of fun. We enjoyed three days at Disney and then enjoyed a few other Southern California places as well. One our non-Disney days we went to San Juan Capistrano to celebrate St Joseph's day. After that we headed to Laguna Beach for a dip in the Pacific Ocean. That was a lot of fun. We also toured Dodgers Stadium, drove up to the Hollywood sign and down Rodeo Drive.
Disney was definitely an adventure. We loved the rides and particularly liked Cars Land. I rode Space Mountain and Splash Mountain, which were fun. The Radiator Racers, Run Away Railroad, Toy Story and Mickey Ferris wheel were definitely among my favorites. We kicked off our our fun week with breakfast at Goofy's kitchen where we met many Disney friends. We also met Mickey, Minnie and Donald. Cara loved meeting the princesses. We had lunch at Ariel's Grotto where we met A LOT of princesses! Cara also waited three hours to meet Anna from Frozen. Sadly, they switch Anna and Elsa every 30 mins and when Cara went in there was Anna. Cara did get to see Elsa walking through the park and we all enjoyed visiting with Olaf. Cara wanted to ask Elsa for her Frozen powers so she could share them with her friends. Mom and Dad were really proud of Cara waiting. She never once complained. I was happy as I got to hang out with Grandma! We saw two parades and the World of Color. We ate a lot of ice cream and walked a lot of miles. It was extra awesome as Grandma and Grandpap were with us. I think they had a lot of fun! Click here to watch a whole video recap of our trip.
We returned home pretty tired, but quickly got back in the routine. Baseball is in full swing. Our team is playing on two leagues. One of which is kid pitch, which has been a lot of fun. We can steal bases too! The other exciting activity is that Cara is playing softball! Her team is the Dixie Sticks. It is fun to watch them.
Uncle Rich from North Carolina came to visit for a few days. We had a great time! He got to see a few games and we took him to Top Golf. We enjoyed singing and piano playing too. We got through the whole score of Joseph. It was extra special having him here for Opening Day! We have our fingers crossed for our Mets this year!
Cara enjoyed a fun outing to the Dallas Arboretum with her friends last week. She loves school and loves drawing.
Happy 100 months of memories!
Love, Sean
