I am 70-months old today!

Whew. Another month of kindergarten down. Some days seem really long at school. I am learning a lot. I don’t tell Mommy too much about all the cool things I have learned, but every once in awhile I like to let something slip out. For example, I told her all about proprioceptive muscles and puffers. I am pretty sure I taught her something new! We have started walking to school daily. It is about a half-mile walk and I am glad my Mommy is getting some exercise. Sometimes if Daddy is not home, Cara will walk with us too. I am making new friends and it is fun to play with them after school. We have had several play dates at the park, splash park and Yogurtville.

When I am not studying for school, I am studying the Bill Jamessean studying bill james baseball handbook. I do love numbers and baseball. We have been cheering for the Texas Rangers as they made it to the ALCS this year.

My baseball season is still going on and it will wrap up at the end of the month. I have made a few good plays in the field and got a couple of hits. This past weekend Daddy had to be the pitcher! His arm has been hurting ever since.

After taking basic skating lessons since January, I have finally been promoted to beginning hockey skating! I am so excited! My teacher is Coach Kelly and he does a great job with our class. We still have not gotten to use hockey sticks yet! Mommy is thinking of signing Cara up for skating. Now that should be fun! I bet Cara would like to play hockey too!

Mommy has been in the mood to do some painting in the house. Sadly, she has not been able to choose a color yet. So far, she has bought 12 different samples and they are all over our walls. We have been having fun identifying shapes that Mommy puts up. Cara and I are totally into the states and so many of the shapes look like states! See what you think.

It is October and that means pumpkin patches! We went to a super cool pumpkin patch at the Frisco RoughRiders’ stadium yesterday. It was awesome to be on the field!

My sister Cara will turn 3 in just a couple of weeks! I can’t believe it. DSC_0064Neither can Mommy! She is so sweet and we enjoy playing together most of the time. We like to play a game we made up called “the airplane game” where we are the mom and dad and we have a baby and go on a trip together. We like to go to NYC so we can see the Mets play. We do have three imaginary friends who sometimes come along too. The two Galts and our friend Carolina. Cara is doing great in preschool and enjoys spending time with Grandma. Grandma takes her to the library (remember when Grandma took me to the library for reading?!) and they go to a music class. I miss Grandma, but got to spend a few days with her last week when Mom and Dad had to go away for work. That was a lot of fun!

I hope you have a great month! Happy Halloween and Happy 3rd Birthday to my sweet little sister. I love you and will always be there for you.

xoxo, Sean
