I am 41-months old today

Hello everyone and Happy Almost Summer from the great state of Texas (which by the way, I can find on a map!)bluebonnets 09

It has been a fun month for me (so what else is new? My whole life has been a party! Ha!). We had a great Easter and I was able to find all the eggs that the bunny hid for me. After church, we headed to brunch with my whole family and then we went to Grandma and Grandpap’s house for another Easter egg hunt. It was a lot of fun and I got to spend time with cousins Emily and my favorite, my big Abbie.

It’s spring time and that means baseball! I have already been to two games – a Rangers game, which thanks to some of Mommy’s friends we were able to score some incredible seats about 20 rows behind home plate; and to a RoughRiders game, which thanks to Grandma and Grandpap we also have great seats. We ordered MLB.TV package and have been enjoying watching the Mets pretty regularly. And, with the two-game sweep over the first-place Phillies, the Mets are over .500 and creeping up on first place! Did you know they tore down Shea Stadium? The Mets now play at Citi Field. This has me a little confused, but I am working through it.

Pre-school wraps up this month. I am registered again for next year. I hope to see my two friends from school this summer – Ella and Megan. I think Mommy is working on some play dates for me. Grandma is taking me to a class called “Awesome Blossoms.” It’s all about gardening. I really like playing in the dirt and watching things grow. I can’t believe how big my bean plant has gotten in just a week. We are signing up for all sorts of other neat classes this summer. Mommy registered me for some “serious swim lessons” as she puts it. I love the water, but just don’t know how to swim … yet. I start my lessons in early June, so I’ll let you know how it goes. Other fun things I have done this month include a train exhibit at the Allen Heritage Guild and a trip to my beloved airplane museum where I had my third birthday party. I love that place. Bluebonnets are blooming here in Texas and we went and took pictures. I included a couple for you.

This past weekend was a very special event. My sister Cara was baptized. We had family in from all over including Uncle Mike and Aunt Melinda from Austin, Aunt Kristin from NY, and Uncle Chaz and Aunt Doll from Pittsburgh. It was a great day. We had a party afterwards and loved seeing everyone. Mommy was freaking out a little bit because we had a huge storm the night before and we lost power for three hours! But, it came back on and everything was fine. Here are two videos from the big day. One is a video of the veremony and one is a picture show. Enjoy. Cara was great – she never cried!

Cara is doing well. She is almost 15 pounds and has started to eat solid foods. She loves her food and is a very clean eater. She hasn’t had anything she doesn’t like yet. She is sitting up pretty well by herself and “talks” all the time. I can get her to laugh like loon, which is so much fun. She likes watching the Mets on TV too. I love my sister.

Mommy is teaching me all sorts of stuff. We are learning about opposites, what letters words start with, and numbers. I also like to put together puzzles and help my Daddy anytime he needs to fix something. I finished tumbling class this month. I am still not real flexible, but I am getting better.

That’s all from me. My Mommy and Daddy are leaving us for a few days – first for Daddy’s 25th high school reunion this weekend, then they have a work conference in Nashville. I normally go to that conference – I have since I was born – but, not this year. That’s ok. Cara and I are headed to Camp Grandma!

bluebonnet peace Love, Sean
